Schist Spa & Dipping Pool

Schist stone is taken from the architectural palette and used to form a small spa / dipping pool on a site that looks out across the water to Maraetai. Heated water spills from copper pipes to provide a soothing water massage when one lies across the large schist boulder beneath. Rocks descend down into the pool as steps and a smooth pebble topping is used to create a fluid, sand-like finish to the interior of the pool.
