Inner City Sanctum

Inner city sanctum on a half site. A narrow pool has been inserted between the house and the boundary, its dark interior giving the illusion of greater depth and reflecting the trees and sky above. Vitex sustainable hardwood timber decking and pool copings bring a softness to the hard lines while cedar lathe is used for screens, gate and pool shed. New subtropical plantings such as Raphis, Chamaedorea, Philodendron and Kentia sit well alongside the existing leafy screen plantings of Radermacheira and Alnus.
